IPBES
The intergovernamental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) assesses the state of biodiversity, ecosystem services, and their major threats in response to requests from decision makers. Dr. Camacho-Cervantes was selected to collaborate as an expert in the Invasive Alien Species Global Assessment.
GloFouling
GloFouling Partnerships is part of the wider efforts by the International Maritime Organization, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme and the Global Environment Facility, to protect marine ecosystems from the negative effects of invasive species. Mexico is among the twelve Lead Partnering Countries and Dr Camacho-Cervantes is part of the Mexican team.
